KRASS is delighted to announce that Carina Gonzalez Wohlenberg, previously Head of Finance, has been officially appointed Managing Director as of 1 June 2025 in accordance with Section 30 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Following careful and long-term strategic preparation, the appointment by the Executive Board has now also been confirmed by the court.

Carina Gonzalez Wohlenberg brings strong leadership qualities, determination and a clear vision, which she will now bring to the further development of the organisation in her new role. Her appointment marks a significant step for KRASS and sets the course for a future-oriented continuation of the joint mission.

KRASS is looking forward to continuing its collaboration and wishes Carina every success, joy and strength in her new role.

    Volunteering Fair 2025

KRASS e.V. joined the Volunteering Fair Düsseldorf 2025 – Because every commitment counts!

Since the first Volunteering Fair 10 years ago, we have been setting a strong example for cultural education and equal opportunities.

Why is KRASS e.V. at the fair? 👉 Because we enable children and young people to take part in free art and cultural projects. 👉 Because we show that volunteering strengthens and changes society. 👉 Because we are looking for supporters who share our vision.

At the Fair 2025, we presented our current projects, exchange ideas with other volunteers and network with people who want to make a difference.

  • ! Summer program for kids!

    ! Summer program for kids!

The children were able to try out four cultural institutions for a week: the museum, the theatre, the workshop and the dance house. In public presentations, the theatre pieces they had created were performed, the dances they had rehearsed were performed, there was a musical programme from the drum circle and the circus performance was a source of amazement. The works from the museum (large-format paintings and collages) could also be admired, and the workshop could also be visited. There were self-designed and painted bags, small figures, jewellery made of polymer clay and a city made of cardboard. Other highlights included face painting for children and the opportunity to paint a T-shirt with the KreativStadt logo.

We would like to thank our fantastic team (18 artist’s!) led by our KRASSe project manager Sarah Reuter
