The 2024 summer holiday program organized by KRASS e.V. once again offered children and young people a wide range of opportunities to be creative, discover new things, and actively shape their holidays. The various workshops combined fun, artistic work, and team spirit, leaving participants with unforgettable memories.
Film workshops for primary school children
From 6 to 10 August 2024, primary school children had the opportunity to develop their own stories in a film workshop. They learned how to shoot scenes, use camera angles, and apply basic editing techniques. Together, they created short films in which the children made their ideas visible. The work in groups encouraged teamwork, imagination, and joy in the creative process.
Film workshops for teenagers
Three film workshops were held in July and August for young people aged 14 to 18. The participants worked on screenplays, storyboards, and the development of their own film ideas. They experimented with various techniques, from stop-motion animation and short films to music videos. At the end, the young people proudly presented their finished films and received feedback from the instructors.
Upcycling workshop for primary school children
The upcycling workshop was fully booked in no time. The children transformed old materials into new artworks, pieces of jewelry, and small objects. They learned that creativity does not depend on new materials. Fabric scraps, cardboard, paints, and other materials were turned into individual masterpieces. At the end of the week, the children proudly presented their results.
Dance + Power for girls aged 9 and up
This workshop was also fully booked. The girls experienced dance, movement, and rhythm in a motivating atmosphere. They tried out different dance styles, learned choreographies, and strengthened their sense of body awareness. The workshop combined fitness, creativity, and team spirit, and was great fun for everyone involved.
