Starting in March 2024, the KRASSe Jugendabenteuer (Crazy Youth Adventures) project was launched, which supported children and young people in a playful and creative way. The KulturMobil (CultureMobile) traveled specifically to where the children lived and picked up groups as often as possible for joint excursions.
The excursions took the children, among other places, to Grafenberg Forest, the Central Library, and the Visiodrom. There, they gained insights into culture and art, were able to discover new things, and develop their curiosity. At the same time, they became familiar with the German education system in its many different facets.
Thanks to a generous donation from Air Liquide, a new annual program was established. This program was specifically aimed at refugee children and young people. The goal was to provide them with orientation, joy, and self-confidence through culture, creativity, and shared experiences.
The KRASS youth adventure allowed participants to explore new spaces, discover their own interests, and actively participate. At the same time, the project fostered cohesion within the groups and offered all the children valuable experiences that went far beyond their everyday lives.
