To mark World Children's Day, we were at the playground Am Beutelweg in Trier-Nord from 15 pm to 18 pm with our artists Claudia Pomowski and Marie von Klitzing as well as a volunteer.
Around 35 children made necklaces with us, colored in pictures with empowering slogans like "I am brave" or "I am unique," drew freely, and painted a fabric banner together with acrylic paints. Lea from the Patricia Meier dance studio then led the children in a choreographed dance to the 2023 children's rights song, "I am allowed to do that."
