Why is the moon sometimes very big and sometimes very thin? How can a bumblebee fly even though it's so big and round? Why is the sky blue and not green? Where does the rainbow begin? Why am I thirsty? Why is 5 plus 5 actually 10? And how does the water get into the clouds?
In our open tutoring sessions, children can ask any questions they may have!

Asking questions together, finding answers together
What's special about open tutoring is that there are no traditional lessons. Instead, children bring their own topics and questions. Whether it's math, German, geography, or general knowledge – every child can contribute whatever is currently on their mind. Together with other children and adults, they then brainstorm, experiment, explain, and work out the solution.
Children learn naturally with and from each other: One child shows another how they solved a problem. Adults help when someone gets stuck. And sometimes the whole group works together to find a solution! This turns learning into a real team adventure.
Think for yourself instead of memorizing
Children here don't simply receive ready-made answers, but learn to figure out how things work for themselves. Through collaborative experimentation and reflection, they see things from different perspectives, better understand connections, and find their own solutions.
This independent learning not only promotes knowledge but also confidence in one's own abilities – an important step in developing a love of learning and confidently tackling challenges.
Learning should be easy
In a respectful and open atmosphere, asking questions comes easily. Mistakes aren't a problem, but rather an important part of learning. Anyone who has experienced the joy of coming up with ideas together that they would never have had alone quickly realizes: learning in a group can be incredibly fun! Everyone knows something that the others don't – and together we know a great deal!
The service is free of charge and registration is not required.
