Art Project: Young and old together on an artistic quest

Designing their own memory game, building a dream city, creating frottages from a wide variety of objects – all this and much more was possible for the registered children and seniors of COOL Experience the eV. “Wow, we’ve never done anything like this before! We’re not allowed to do this anywhere else! That I get to try all this out. It’s so much fun!” was the unanimous opinion of the children who participated in the project.

Creative collaboration between young and old

As part of a project by the KRASS association, children aged 6 to 14 worked together with adults aged 55 and over on creative activities. These included photography, frottages, spray painting on house walls, designing a memory game, or creating a dream city. The aim was to promote creativity, learn from one another, and develop mutual understanding between the generations.

Strengthening the neighborhood and positive feedback

The project also strengthened identification with the Rath district and fostered exchange between different age groups. It was accompanied by artists and educators who led the activities. The participants were enthusiastic, and the project was considered a complete success.
