The "Culture for Children" foundation was officially established on August 25, 2010, in the premises of the Düsseldorf municipal savings bank. The establishment was significantly supported by the months of preparation undertaken by Claudia Seidensticker, who was accompanied by the Competence Center.
The foundation's board of trustees consists of a dedicated group of artists, educators, lawyers, specialist journalists, and other experts. The members share a strong motivation stemming from the values and goals established by the foundation's founder.
The foundation was preceded by a long-standing joint commitment: Since July 2008, the participants have been actively working under the umbrella of the non-profit association KRASS e.V. in Düsseldorf to promote the well-being of children.
