Claudia Neumann from the Trierer WochenSpiegel has written a nice article about a summer holiday offer from KRASS e.V. in Trier.
As part of its summer holiday program, KRASS e.V., with the support of artists and volunteers, brought free art activities directly to the playgrounds in Trier-North. Over ten afternoons, more than 215 children were able to get creative, painting with acrylic and gouache paints on canvases, designing bags, or making bracelets.
The mobile initiative is aimed particularly at children and young people who cannot travel during the holidays, in order to promote cultural education and equal opportunities. The project was made possible by the financial support of the Sparkasse Trier Cultural Foundation, the Provinzial Rhineland-Palatinate Cultural and Social Foundation, the Rhineland-Palatinate Lottery Foundation, and a donation from Baker McKenzie. A continuation next year is planned, provided funding is secured.
