We discover a variety of dance styles and movement possibilities and learn basic dance techniques such as posture, balance, coordination and rhythm. Through creative choreographies, a playful connection between music and movement can be established by recognising the beat of the music and translating it into movement.
Prejudices disappear as if by magic when everyone dances together and everyone can experience affirmation. One of the basic principles of community dance is that everyone, without exception, can join in and contribute. Every participant must be given the opportunity to look good on stage (performance planned!).
