Thanks to the state programme “Gemeinsam MehrWert”, which promotes diverse work with young refugees, KRASS can continue its work with young refugees.

The association now travels daily with the “InterkulturMobil” to refugee shelters in Düsseldorf. Every week, the team offers around 100 children from Ukraine, the Balkans, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, India, Georgia, Somalia, Kurdistan and Turkey a creative break and low-threshold German lessons.

The offers serve as door openers to get in touch with the children and their families, build trust and introduce them to the German education system.
