On May 28, 2025, the children's theatre group KRASS e.V. presented their self-developed play "The Jungle Book" at the Düsseldorf-Eller city library. Five children, wearing homemade masks, performed their version of the well-known story with great enthusiasm.
Since November 2024, the children have been meeting every Monday from 17 to 18 pm at the Eller community center to perform theatre together. Under the guidance of Ana and Africa Peres, as well as Zeynep Alpay, they independently developed the play, set design, and costumes.
The theatre club playfully fosters creativity, language skills, and teamwork. In addition to classic plays, participants also create their own stories, poems, and, in the future, improvisational theatre. Participation is free and open to children aged 6 to 12 without registration.
