"Children don't need to be brought to art – art comes to the children!"
With our mobile KRASS bus – the KulturMobil – we reach children and young people from all parts of the city and from diverse family, cultural, and social backgrounds. We give them the opportunity to discover their creativity, movement, and individual talents, regardless of their circumstances or obstacles.
Even as we're setting up the tables and benches from the KuMo (KulturMobil), the first children arrive and immediately begin painting and creating. A professional instructor is leading the project. She is accompanied by volunteers to ensure that each child receives the necessary attention.
During the sessions, the children's spontaneous ideas are put into practice, and they are encouraged to express their artistic freedom. Furthermore, the opportunity is offered to help children and young people with their homework.
There are always new children, but also some who already know us and greet us cheerfully. The children enjoy the change of pace. The parents, too, are enthusiastic, curious, and relieved to entrust their children to our care for a while. The children are given the freedom to develop individually and creatively.
