Summer 2023 to Summer 2024
Joseph Beuys, born in Krefeld and died in Düsseldorf, is one of the most famous artists in the world. He became famous for his artwork “The Fat Corner” and for a film in which he explains art to a dead rabbit.
Let’s explore his quote “Everyone is an artist”!
Objective: The pupils learn about the life and work of an internationally known Rhineland artist and work creatively with wood, stones – and fat! Experience: Art is interesting and fun.
Procedure: The project consists of three stations at which the participants learn about encounter art, artists, museums and themselves.

- Beuys in Düsseldorf: Visit to the NRW Art Collection

Some of the works created will be on display at a joint exhibition of all the pupils who took part in the project in the form of a pop-up museum in Düsseldorf.
