At KRASS e.V., located at the Eller community center, a fully equipped recording studio and experienced music professionals are available. Whether hip-hop, pop, electronica, or poetry slam – young people aged 12 and up can produce their own tracks, experiment, and realize their creative ideas here.
Building beats, writing lyrics, producing songs
In the recording studio, young people can write their own lyrics, program beats, develop melodies, and record songs. Whether at the microphone, on the guitar, on the keyboard, or on the laptop – everything is fair game. From hip-hop, rap, trap, and R&B to pop and electronic music, and even lo-fi, indie, and poetry slam, anything is possible. Those who want to can experiment with sounds, use effects, distort voices, or mix different instruments together.
Here you can realize YOUR ideas
At the mixing console, you learn how to create a finished song from individual tracks – from the first take through editing and processing to the final mix. Together with others, you can jam, improvise, or discover new musical genres.
You can also create your own podcasts, sound collages, or radio plays here. Those interested in technology can learn about the studio's setup, how to properly position microphones, or even try their hand at the mixing console.
The recording studio is a place to experiment, learn and grow – a space where ideas are allowed to resonate, creativity finds its place and thoughts become real music.
