Diverse cultural experiences in the KRASS summer program

Sommerprogramm KreativStadt 2023: Kinder entdeckten Kunst, Theater, Tanz und Werkstattprojekte. Kreativ, abwechslungsreich und unvergesslich.

The children were able to participate in the “Creative City Summer Program”" Each participant spent a week getting to know four cultural institutions. They worked in a museum, a theater, a workshop, and a dance studio. In doing so, they tried out different artistic techniques and discovered their own creativity.

Creative presentations

In public performances, the children presented their rehearsed plays. They performed the dances they had practiced during the week. Musical contributions were presented by the drum circle. A circus performance delighted and amazed the audience.

Artworks and workshop projects

At the museum, the children admired large-format paintings and collages. In the workshop, they created their own designed bags, small figures, and jewelry from polymer clay. They also built a city out of cardboard. Highlights included face painting and decorating T-shirts with the KreativStadt logo.

Team and organization

The KRASS team organized the program and actively supported the children. 18 artists carried out the projects professionally. Project manager Sarah Reuter coordinated all activities and ensured that everything ran smoothly. In this way, the summer program “KreativStadt” offered the children a varied, creative, and unforgettable experience.
