A strong statement for children and young people: A team from the company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) took part in a Social Day at the KRASS House. The employees did not only lend a hand, but also made an important contribution through their commitment to a very special place! Because the KRASS House is much more than just a building: it is a protected retreat where young people can discover their talents and develop creatively through art and music workshops as well as targeted tutoring.
Working together to create a place where children and young people can discover their talents and simply have fun
Over two days, our association was fortunate to receive this valuable support: 33 employees from URW worked together to make the KRASS house and its courtyard ready for upcoming children's and youth projects.
After a warm welcome from the founder and board member Claudia Seidensticker, we got straight to the WorkThe Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield team set to work with dedication and team spirit, thoroughly cleaning and reorganizing the premises and courtyard. They scrubbed, cleaned, brushed, and sorted. Old materials were disposed of, new furniture was assembled, and walls were painted.
Lively exchange between all participants
The event also provided an opportunity for mutual understanding: Intensive exchanges took place during work and shared lunch breaks. The URW team gained direct insights into the important daily work of KRASS e.V., while the team from KRASS-Haus learned more about the motivation behind their social commitment.
