This year, in cooperation with Treffpunkt am Weidengraben eV and the Ambrosiusgrundschule, we are giving 10 children, for whom this is not a given, a birthday party with their friends. An artist will paint or craft with the birthday child and their guests. There will also be cake and games.

The project will be financed in 2026 through private donations as well as corporate donations from Jam-Software and VET-Concept.

We currently provide tutoring in German and math to 12 children and young people and offer them the opportunity to broaden their cultural horizons through joint group activities.

The project will be funded in 2026 by the Nikolaus Koch Foundation and the Herbert and Veronika Reh Foundation.

The Nikolaus Koch Foundation is a non-profit foundation that has been involved in education and support for people with disabilities in the Trier region since 1993. www.nikolaus-koch-stiftung.de

Our artist paints or does crafts once a week with refugee children and young people who live in the reception center for asylum seekers.

In the book club, children and young people read and experience the city library as a place of education and learning.

A project of the Trier City Library in cooperation with KRASS e.V.

The book clubs of the Trier City Library were sponsored by the Herbert and Veronika Reh Foundation.

Bullying at school, parents struggling with addiction, fights with your best friend, violence, and abuse—our music video “Komm ans Licht” is intended to encourage children to seek help in a timely manner if they are affected.

The project was supported by the city of Trier.

In cooperation with TUFA Trier, we offer pottery courses for children and teenagers. The instructor teaches participants the basics of pottery.

The project is financially supported by "Every Child His Art".

Once a week, our band “Jal-Minds” rehearses with their band coach. The band is made up of young people between the ages of 11 and 18 who make music together. The teens play electric guitar, electric bass, keyboard, drums, and sing. Listen to a sample.

The “Jal-Minds” are a cooperation project of KRASS e.V., the children and youth department of Bürgerhaus Trier-Nord eV and the Karl-Berg-Musikschule of the city of Trier.

The project was funded in 2024 by the Federal Association of Popular Music (Bundesverband Popularmusik eV) as part of the "Pop to go" funding program within the framework of "Culture Makes You Strong. Alliances for Education."

We are looking for volunteers and paid staff to support our work regularly and long-term – whether in workshops with children and young people or administratively behind the scenes, e.g. in fundraising, public relations, etc.
