  • „Food & Culture Workshop“

The “Food & Culture Workshop” has been running for a week as part of the styleyourrights project at Krass e.V. So far, ten children from the south of Düsseldorf have taken part. Every day, excursions are made to different multicultural neighborhoods, shopping is done and food is cooked together. The children talk intensively about their cultures and put their own ideas and recipes into practice. The children act independently in all areas and receive guidance or help when necessary. In the next few weeks, the children will publish recipe videos that you are welcome to try out.

  • World Refugee Day

We actively work on the direct integration of refugee children. Our mobile studio, packed with our artists or art therapists heads for many refugee shelters and gives children and young people aged 6-18 the opportunity to develop creatively within thematic brackets, to work through trauma and to build social and personal skills. And all this without the problem of the language barrier, because in visual communication there are no translation problems. For us, it means counteracting. And the best way to do that is directly with the very young.
