  • You can help so we can help

We Can Help is a charity buying platform that was launched back in 2008. We Can Help’s goal is to support as many charities as possible, including KRASS.

We Can Help is an intermediary between the buyer and the buying platform. Without any registration, the buyer can complete his online transaction. With just one click, a percentage of the purchase amount is forwarded to KRASS. Already over 6,000 online stores are participating! If you are not sure which stores are participating, you can set up a store alert. This will pop up when you want to shop on a website that cooperates with Bildungsspender. Of course, you can also donate to KRASS directly at We Can Help.

We Can Help is completely free to use! Plus, you don’t have to register and can donate completely anonymously!

  • HipHop Workshop

This is the final video of our project “HipHop Workshop”. Children and young people, between 12 and 13 years, have participated in this art project over three months. Under the guidance of the KRASS art lecturer Jason Firchow, the participants independently wrote a song text and dealt with the topic of Corona.

The song was diligently rehearsed, memorized, and recorded in a professional mobile recording studio. Unfortunately, it was not possible to perform the song in front of an audience due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the participants produced a video to spread their message to the world by rapping. The project was carried out with our sponsor school, the Gesamtschule Stettiner Straße, in Düsseldorf-Garath. The project was supported by the LVR (Landschaftsverband Rheinland).

  • Art and children and KRASS

Art and children go together not only because of the pretty alliteration, but because it is part of being a child to learn self-expression and playful design with the help of artistic means. And this goes beyond conventional art lessons because access to art should also be open to children whose parents cannot afford expensive painting courses and private art education. And that brings us to the point. Our non-profit association KRASS is addressing this very problem since the beginning. Since then, it has received many awards, it is growing rapidly, and is helping thousands of children around the world to have unforgettable experiences with art. All of this with the help of hundreds of volunteers, sponsors and prominent advocates.

  • Support from professionals

The film team Conquer Media and the rap artist Maass visited us at our Hip-Hop workshop and produced a small movie. In the context of the release of their music album they collect donations for our association. We take our hats off to such young, committed people and thank them for their support.

  • Hip-Hop

Our Jason also known as JayJay, who has many years of professional experience as a hip-hop artist and music educator, is on the road again today at our sponsor school, the Gesamtschule Stettiner Straße in Düsseldorf-Garath.

The children rap, sing, write lyrics, take pictures and perform – of course with a mask and the necessary distance.

  • NAKU

The children now have to deal with many new challenges. The Corona outbreak makes learning difficult for many kids. Many of them are not able to fulfill the required workload and therefore feel under a lot of pressure. In addition, they often lack the technical equipment for home schooling, such as a laptop or printer. We would like to help the children & teenagers and offer them free tutoring. The support consists of learning by qualified KRASS lecturers in small groups, the promotion of independent learning, as well as the organization of common leisure time!

  • Dearest Wollengel, we say thank you!

We would like to say THANK YOU on behalf of the children. You have given us roughly 1000 beautiful, large and small, colorful patterned self-sewn nose-to-mouth masks just like that. And the kids are happy every time they get to choose one: “Ohhhh, cool, can I take one for my brother too? And for my sister?”. You guys have made mask-wearing a little more enjoyable for the kids. THANK YOU for that and the sweetest greetings from KRASS! You really are ANGELS!
