  • Christmas – nice for all children in Düsseldorf?

Christmas – nice for all children in Düsseldorf?

That’s 20,000 people affected in Düsseldorf alone. At KRASS, we give away cultural education so that a child’s background does not determine whether they are allowed to paint, dance or make music. For 25 euros we buy 5 paint boxes, for 50 euros an art therapist works with traumatised children for an hour. Will you help us?

We are part of the Sustainability Alliance

………………Plastic-free breakfast? I’d love it! but first make sure that every child has a breakfast!) The Sustainability Office of the state capital Düsseldorf has initiated the Alliance as an offer for full-time employees of non-profit organisations.

The alliance provides an opportunity for employees from various fields of activity to exchange ideas about possible courses of action in the area of sustainability, to inform each other, to develop approaches to action and solutions together and to network.

  • ! Summer program for kids!

    ! Summer program for kids!

The children were able to try out four cultural institutions for a week: the museum, the theatre, the workshop and the dance house. In public presentations, the theatre pieces they had created were performed, the dances they had rehearsed were performed, there was a musical programme from the drum circle and the circus performance was a source of amazement. The works from the museum (large-format paintings and collages) could also be admired, and the workshop could also be visited. There were self-designed and painted bags, small figures, jewellery made of polymer clay and a city made of cardboard. Other highlights included face painting for children and the opportunity to paint a T-shirt with the KreativStadt logo.

We would like to thank our fantastic team (18 artist’s!) led by our KRASSe project manager Sarah Reuter
