    Boys only!

New project at KRASS: nextGenBoys – modern boys’ work for the next generation!

Our project brings together boys aged 10–16 from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. Together, they experience how diversity is a real asset and develop a strong sense of community – across cultural differences.

    What can you expect?

🎵 Music production – show what you’ve got! Write your own lyrics, create beats, record songs: music gives you a voice and allows you to express your moods and thoughts creatively.

🎨 Art & creativity – create pictures and objects, process feelings and experiences in a creative way! We offer you space for reflection and for strengthening your identity.

🥊 Boxing training – Strengthen your body and mind! You will learn technique, fairness, respect and conflict resolution – for more discipline and cohesion.

🚶‍♂️ Joint excursions – Discover culture and new places, experience great activities together with other boys!

‘nextGenBoys’ strengthens personality, promotes friendships and shows that everyone can play a valuable role!

A creative contribution from a Folkwang student: Minna Sakura Friebe designs an exclusive poster for KRASS e.V.

We are delighted to share a very special design experience with you:
As part of her studies at Folkwang University of the Arts, Minna Sakura Friebe has designed a unique poster for KRASS e.V.!

The poster was created as a practical project and combines artistic creativity with the message of our work. What’s particularly exciting is that Minna used the typical colours of KRASS, but otherwise gave herself complete freedom and tried something completely new. With fresh colour schemes, strong imagery and an individual approach, her design highlights our themes – and sets an example for young engagement and creative freedom in Düsseldorf.

  • Living diversity, strengthening creativity

    Living diversity, strengthening creativity

With the project ‘You belong to us’, KRASS e.V. is launching an intercultural art and empowerment project that specifically targets refugee children. Our aim is to strengthen these children’s resilience, ability to deal with conflict and sense of belonging through artistic and cultural activities. We create a safe space in which they can discover their creative talents, experience cultural identity and develop healthy self-confidence. Democratic values and the creative exploration of topics such as tolerance and the prevention of extremism take centre stage. A particular focus is on regular encounters with non-refugee children from the neighbourhood – shared experiences and getting to know each other are firmly anchored components of the project.

    Volunteering Fair 2025

KRASS e.V. joined the Volunteering Fair Düsseldorf 2025 – Because every commitment counts!

Since the first Volunteering Fair 10 years ago, we have been setting a strong example for cultural education and equal opportunities.

Why is KRASS e.V. at the fair? 👉 Because we enable children and young people to take part in free art and cultural projects. 👉 Because we show that volunteering strengthens and changes society. 👉 Because we are looking for supporters who share our vision.

At the Fair 2025, we presented our current projects, exchange ideas with other volunteers and network with people who want to make a difference.
