As part of the “Children Have Rights” alliance, we were present at the Children’s Rights Square in Düsseldorf’s Südpark, bringing the rights of children to life through art, games, and sports. It was a festival for the whole family.

Pantomime workshop
Empowerment through cultural education: As part of “NEMO’s HEART PROJECT “MIME ART FOR LIFE e.V. – Encouraging with mime”, the South African mimes also came to two locations where KRASS e.V. is active. In Heerdt and Willich, the children were amazed and instinctively joined in full of joy. Speechless understanding, across all borders! A big thank you to the Düsseldorfer Kinderträume Foundation ♥

Summer 2023: Our Creative City in Mönchengladbach
Due to the more than wet weather we had to move from the Grenzland Stadium to a neighboring school, but, hey: improvisation is everything.
At this point we would like to thank again to the KRASS team around Mathias and Jason.
Especially for the kids who couldn’t leave, it became an unforgettable time with art, culture, movement and a lot of fun. -
KRASS in numbers
But we nevertheless sat down to work on our Social Report (the balance sheet for non-profit organizers) for 2022. And lo and behold, we put quite a few hours into our work. Reached a lot of children and refugee children and got a lot of help from our volunteers and lecturers. Now we have it in black and white, or in our case red and green. KRASS has outgrown itself in the last year.
12,480 hours worked by our volunteers,
that’s 240 hours per week!
We reached 5,740 children in refugee shelters.
2.250 children were visited in the KulturMobil
1840 children and young people took part in workshops
83 volunteers supported us
42 teachers work for us
22 art projects were carried out
10 advanced trainings for our employees were offered
6 employees work in the administrative team
1 Landesverdienstorden NRW we received
0 Euro had to be paid by families for our workshops
THANK YOU to all sponsors!
