Intercultural cooking and creative workshop to strengthen understanding of peoples, personal self-image and media skills in the area of internet blogging.
By presenting their favorite recipes, the participants also learn about the life stories, preferences and experiences of others and can present themselves. They experience exchange, diversity and community by creating a food blog together. Cooking videos are made and animated GIFs are created, stories are told about the recipes, and memories are shared (online). They experience positive reinforcement and broaden their horizons as we take joint excursions to different intercultural neighborhoods in Düsseldorf (Japanese quarter, Arab quarter, European quarter, etc.), thus expanding their understanding of life outside their own neighborhood.
