New directors in Hamburg: We are Miriam Sellinger and Rosa Panzer and manage the KRASS location in Hamburg.

We have taken over from Ariane Scheer and now offer children access to art and cultural projects with a team of trained creative artists. With our work, we want to enable children and young people between the ages of 3 and 18 to express themselves creatively. Within a safe framework, they can express themselves playfully, develop together and simply be children. We help them to get to know and develop their individual abilities and to try things out with self-confidence and curiosity.

The motivation behind the founding of “KRASS vor Ort”

In Germany, a child’s background and disposable family income play a decisive role in determining their education and chances of advancement. This is where we come in and offer children the opportunity to experience art and culture regardless of social, financial or cultural structures.

Through motivation, fun and competent guidance in our projects, we see how young people surpass themselves in cultural and artistic projects and activities. The children immerse themselves in painting, drawing, movement or music, for example, or are amazed and (re)create on excursions or in exhibitions. We empower children through art and support them in their personal development.
